When I first started loving Hibachi chicken and steak, I never knew the wonderful sauce I loved so much was called Yum Yum Sauce until I came across a quick and easy recipe for it. You know what? This makes the BEST Yum Yum Sauce I have found, and beats the store bought stuff hands down! It is super easy to make. If you have the time, it is best if it sits in the fridge overnight, but you can fix it first thing in the morning and refrigerate until dinner time and it will still be amazingly good!
For this recipe, the brand of mayonnaise DOES make a difference. I have found through trial and error that Hellmann’s is the best to make this Yum Yum Sauce. I tried it with Kraft Mayo and it just didn’t taste right at all. So, pick up a small jar of Hellmann’s mayo to fix this wonderful Yum Yum Sauce. You won’t be disappointed.
This is so simple – just combine all the ingredients in a bowl and whisk until thoroughly combined.
Pour into a plasticware container, place the lid on and let this mixture sit in the fridge overnight if possible, but at least for 8 hours.
That’s it! It’s THAT simple!
