This is one of those recipes that I love to fix to go with just regular ‘ole pretzels. It is an easy dill pretzel dip made with butter, cream cheese, and dill. It is almost addicting when you sit down to snack on it! My kids LOVE it, which is unusual for my kids. It would be great for a party, an appetizer, a work function, or while watching the bowl games!

I have tried making this before using stick butter and it doesn’t work as well as using a tub of butter/margarine. Using stick butter will cause the dip to harden up to much. However, if it’s all you’ve got, let it warm up a little when you take it out of the fridge so it will soften.

Easy Dill Pretzel Dip

1 15oz tub of butter/margarine. (I use the Blue Bonnet tub)
1 1/2 8 oz packages of cream cheese
2 TBSP Dill (I taste and add more when I’m making it. Make it to your taste)

 

1. Let the butter and cream cheese soften.

2. Mix the butter and cream cheese with a hand mixer until smooth.

3. Add in the Dill. Taste and add more dill until the taste is where you would like it.

4. Keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

I serve this with stick pretzels, but any pretzel will do. I also think it would taste good with pretzels. If you find the taste is too buttery, add in the rest of the second package of cream cheese and re-mix.
